Whilst this 1890km journey will be a huge personal challenge, I'd also like to use this opportunity to highlight the awesome work being done by Smiling for Smiddy and the Mater Foundation to rid the world of cancer. I will be dedicating eight 200km segments of the race to stories of strength, adversity and courage that inspire me to keep pushing through the hard times.
